SEPT POKER PROFIT
Staking 3650
FL 1400
Multi -900
NL 1350
PLO 3200
RAKEBACK 365
TOTAL PROFIT 9065
Nothing to grumble about this month. Have not played loads but after decent start to month, what I have played has been highish stakes. I think the best way for me to sum up the month is run good, played good and staked good. My WCOOP investment cashed and I trebled that investment so my dollars run like Dobba dollars at the moment.
Obviously Brenos numbers will blow above out the water but have to say I am delighted with above after a small dry spell and the fact it has come from cash games rather than multis, which I am restricted in playing at the moment. It is basically my 2nd best month this year and this achieved without a major headline score with the £2K return from Brenos investment my biggest score.
DAY TIME TV - LOL
OMG - I was off this week and we took the little one away but it was mega hard work and basically spent one day in doors. The one thing I learned on this day was that if I ever get the bullet at work and turn poker pro then all I need to do is get sky out. I think with just daytime tv then I would do a minimum of 10 hours graft per day as it is truly horrendous - since many of you who read this are full time poker then here is my take on your average day ;)
Wake up - watch 2 hopeless presenters on a fortune who were hopeless when on another side. Turn onto the Wright stuff for some clown talk shit for next 90 minutes or so. Then we can see if we can sell our 25p item that is 8 years old for 28P - who gives a hoot. Next we can get someone who we don't like to do up our house in a style we don't like and pretend we do. Small respite for a sarnie and maybe 15 minutes decent news bulletin.
Next up - about 5 women talking crap about crap, followed by some other 112 year old trying to sell a watch for £3.50 that they bought on a £4 bus journey some 2 hours earlier for £3 and claim they have made 50p. Speaking of bus journeys, we can watch a program about who gets evicted off a bus - FFS who pays for this crap. Countdown still almost watchable inbetween.
Next time I am off - I am pretty sure I will get more from CBeebies. At least Ryder cup from 7am tomorrow :D
Thats all folks
do do dododo dodo d odod dododdod dooooooooooo doo doooo

SEPT SPORTS PROFIT
Golf -155
Tennis 3030
NFL -1035
Football -950
Horses -575
F1 -150
TOTAL 165
I am usually delighted with any profit on sports betting as in the main is just a leak for me. However this month I am gutted to have made such a small profit - I basically ran golden in the US Open and had 9 from 10 winning match bets with half of them on underdogs - however for rest of month it just took the pish. Biggest pishtake was when some geezer missed a chip shop at NFL from about 20 yards to land me a 1400£ 4 timer but instead scores were tied, lost toss in OT and lost.
Ryder come coming up tomorrow which if i remember correct I lost an absolute fortune on last year - oh well !!!!

STEAK AND CHIPS
I have not updated much lately, things looking good at home with Zoe back to full fitness and we are going to take her up the coast for a few days although weather looks like rain rain rain.
I have backed a few players recently on 2+2 or mates and have done well on returns from Brenos getting me 2K after his 5th in English Open and I also got shipped 1K from swordfish007 for his similar size cash in WSOP. I played this up last night backing 2 people in the WCOOP main event (5200 buy in) and I bought 5% and 20% in 2 players. The former has busted but the latter is well positioned with just over 15% of the field left at end of day 1.
Playing wise then I played much less often but at higher stakes and have been holding my own in the games I have played, I got some real nice spots when i chipped up which you tend to forget apart from when your on the wrong side of them (example me AA SB and BB has QQ) which has given me a few $ to play my not so normal game.
Looking like it will be a decent month profit wise when add above together, a major cash by my horse in the WSOOP could blow the month out the water as top 3 in the tourney all get over a million $.
Still waiting for the Brenos EPO celebration part with his Gold card behind the bar.................................

GEORGE MICHAEL
Best so far from a multitude I have read.
George has denied allegations that in day 1 in the slammer that he has had a chocolate bar rammed up his ass. He has stated that it must have been a careless wispa.

A POKER UPDATE (BELIEVE IT OR NOT)
3 brief points.
1) WCOOP EVENTS
These have started on *s and played my first tourney for ages in the 215$ PLO 6 handed event with over 2000 runners. Played well for 8 hours and was about 40th of 90 left when i pressed self destruct and got it in bad 2 hands in a row to blow out 60th for just over 1k$. Huge congrats to Dave Dubai Shallow for shipping the 10K high rollers event in WCOOP 2.
2) Staking - LOL - got a message from someone asking me to look at something on 2+2 which I had not been on for yonks. I had quite a few private messages which seemed weird. Anyway turns out someone i staked in WSOP in the marketplace cashed for 45K or so in wsop and I had 3%. SO was chuffed with this and hopefully get the cash despite replying a month late. However, I then had another PM from say guy saying you backed me in wsop did i wnat same offer in another event. Event has now finished and the guy took it down for 65K lol and stakes were cheap so missed out on a free lunch !!!
3) Good luck Brennan in EPO today - I promise to write a huge thread on how great you are if I final table as long as it is accompanied by the photo your sister has posted of you on facebook. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

FILM RECOMMENDATION
Just watched Oliver Stones new film (documentary) called South of the Border (details below). This shows how much propaganda you get from the American news networks such as Fox and CNN and I found it mega interesting. I also really liked that it is all over in 80 minutes where as most films these days seem to want to be almost double that. Its not exactly an action adventure but worth watching on sky.
INFO
There's a revolution underway in South America, but most of the world doesn't know it. Oliver Stone sets out on a road trip across five countries to explore the social and political movements as well as the mainstream media's misperception of South America while interviewing seven of its elected presidents. In casual conversations with Presidents Hugo Chavez (Venezuela), Evo Morales (Bolivia), Lula da Silva (Brazil), Cristina Kirchner (Argentina), as well as her husband and ex-President Nestor Kirchner, Fernando Lugo (Paraguay), Rafael Correa (Ecuador), and Raul Castro (Cuba), Stone gains unprecedented access and sheds new light upon the exciting transformations in the region.
Watch Out - Empire magazine dont like it so maybe its just me !!!
South Of The Border (15)
Plot
Following on from his riveting chats with Fidel Castro and Yasser Arafat, Oliver Stone travels to five South American countries and interviews their presidents, trying to understand what he sees as the rise of a new kind of popular democratic socialism in the region.
Verdict
Stone’s film could have allowed political voices that are rarely present to get a fair, and critical hearing. Instead he near smooches them to death.
