EPT HANGOVER - HAVING A LIONAL BLAIR

Absolutely everything has gone wrong betting & poker wise since my exit.

I have lost over £2k on sports &PLO has been unreal.

2 examples today in 2k pots when i called a 4 bet with KKxx both times flop K including once on K74 rainbow versus K7xx and AAxx, and both times the river came A for total pots north of 5k$.

Then just now I get 3 way all in with open ended straight flush draw in PLO versus higher flush draw and another pants hand, hit a non flush csrd straight on turn and finally think my luck has turned when the river pairs the board which I thought was a blank until i see the 4k$ pot ship the other way and then realise as well as f draw he had top 2 pair (so was fav to be fair).


Then finally, on tilt i wedged Bolton tonight at 11-10 and they come from 1 down to go 2 up, I am just pressing the button to take stake back at 1.3 when of course - goal to forest !!!

EPT EVENT AND INTERVIEW

I had an interesting main event.

30K start stacks and I lost AK suited v QQ for 60K pot midway through day 1, leaving me nursing a 5K stack. 24 hrs later on day 2 I had a 95K stack with the average stack 50K and was going / playing well when I got moved tables to a much more aggressive table.

I played a hand poor giving over 20K away and then my exit hand was basically 10 7 of clubs, I re raised the button from the small blind, flopped a flush draw on K95 flop (2 clubs) and put a decent sized continuation bet in, then on a 7 turn i shoved my stack in as pot sized bet, villain dwelled for 10 mins but made call with KQ and riv was a Q and I was over and out.

I final tabled the PLO in the Estrella's event coming 8th for 900EUR. Was pleased with my EPT effort although disappointed with the final table I was at, and also 24 hrs later they were almost in the cash with 160th paying 8KEUR.

OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE

Saturday was unreal. Started off with a treck across London to the showjumping with wife and kid and then left them to go to Olympic park before meeting up with a mate. We had a few beers then watched GB win Gold in the Womens Team Pursuit in the cycling and then a dash into the Olympic Stadium for one of the most immense experiences one could have with GB winning 3 golds in long jump, heptathlon and then Mo in the 10K.

Next morning I headed to table tennis then back to Olympic stadium to watch mens 100m final which was pretty amazing also.

A £300 double RichardsRoss and Bolt paid for my ticket also so all sweet.

A quite simply stunning experience that will be with me forever - don't think I will ever experience an atmosphere like that of Super Sat in the Olympic Stadium.

JULY POKER PROFIT

Top month and basically my 1st mega month of the year. Also have won a seat for 5300EPT Barca event on top of below. Highlight of month was paying a ridic amount of money for Men's 100M final tickets and then literally within 10 mins getting into a 4 way 100BB each all in PLO pot with aces that somehow hit trips and faded all the draws!!!
