1) Promised I would never do this but could not help it with the cards - just chip led with 7 left on Laddies and finished 7th. Only other big stack ran into him on consecutive hands SB / BB both times big hands and he had bigger (AQ v KK (i folded my reraise to his push) and 66 v 99.

2) Fixed limit - dont know why i bother.

Well Guest Connections will be sold this weekend - very close to what I paid for my share - basically it has a mind of its own but I think it will put together back to back wins when eventually gets head in front. However, has played up in stalls a few times and could easily do some damage and nexer run again.

Rather than cashing out I invested in small % in a 2 year old filly with Ann Duffield that has a couple of entries next week called Cammelot Communion - (However, I am probably in Germany next week) - new beast is pictured.

5 ton on Germany at 11-10 just after half time - couldn't believe they would be as bad again 2nd half and strongly believed they just needed to get crosses in to use physical advantage.

I have not been able to walk since Sun night - massive pains in my foot - the doc thinks I have Gout - I thought this only existed in 15th Century !!! - Anyway if it is that its not very nice - awful pain

Bought into the 6 shooter on Betfair last night at $530.

14 runners 1st 3.2k$, 2nd 2.1k$, 3rd 1.4k$

3 left i am chip leader and am all in v 3rd in a race but lose. Eventually, I come 2nd for 2.1k$.

Bit better showing - feel like i played decent.

I have a total phantom injury also - have hurt the base of my foot and had to go to hospital as can hardly walk. No idea how, i was not even out at weekend and last night had worst pain i have ever had - hope whatever it is that in clears up soon as literally cannot walk up or downstairs.

ANOTHER SICK BLOW :(

Just came 13th in Betfairs 55k gtd.

However, was 13th of 13 and called a min raise with 8 10 - flop comes 89 3 and player pushes all in. I know how this player plays and am 100% certain winning - I call in 2 secs for a pot to go 5th / 6th with huge prizes.

Woopee he shows queen ten (flushing also) and then hits the queen on the turn.

Been too busy with work to get any play in.

Then when looked like may have a few hrs to myself I had to sort out police visits / insurance as some w@nker(s) had cut a hole in my car door to nick a stereo they will get £25 max for. I thought nicking car stereos was so 90s !!!

Also just bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii today so chance of playing any decent amount of poker this week is slim. Also have my project going live next week so dont hold out much hope of much play.

Somethings you have to hold your hands up

and say I just aint playing well.

I also though if i followed the below principles I would have won about 1/3rd more than what I have done the last 2 years.

Do not player poker if :-

1) You have something planned that evening and are trying to make a quick buck to pay for it.
2) If you are stressed and have worked late (just watch tv or something)
3) You just have gone deep and got a bad beat late on in a multi do not load up cash.

Went to York yesterday as th enag I have a % in was running and he ran decent after a slow start for 5th or 6th. However, I cant remember backing a horse winner since Cheltneham and lost £500 again yesterday.

Poker going poor also - about £2k down on actual play in month although small profit due to CPC cash.

Lets hope things take a turn for the up shortly.

I have 20k and call a raise in position with JJ - flop AJ3 he checks i bet 1/2 pot he calls. He checks I now think he could have AA but cant get away from this as no info on him and thought he could play AK the same - i bet he jams i call he has AA of course.

played 16k for 3 hrs also then lost race with 30 left versus absolute shite call.

RESPECTING THE GAME AGAIN

OK so I listened to my own post.

I basically slowed right down - played a few freerolls to respect the game again - stop trying to make a quick buck etc (a kind of mini punishment)

I then play NL over last 3 nights and make back the £1500 I had dropped but then see what i consider a fish on 20 40 fixed limit and loose £600 to him so still in a bit of a hole.

However, confirmed my CPC pacakge today so I am definately booked and received the difference between £10K EUR and £10k$ pacakge in my accounts and then also 2k$ of the 10k$ package was cash also - I had not counted these figure previous so they go in the profit column and give me a bit of a roll to play with again.

For any grinders out there - Crapto have loads of freerolls on MPPs into events like CPS sats 40k sats etc.

I just spoke with Brennan on MSN and if i was full time 1 2 NL I would deffo play them.

Basically the 40k costs £120 to enter - I reckon the freeroll is 6 seats gtd with 180 runners so an average player wins 1 in 30 - lets assume you are above average then 1 in 20. This is 20* 50 mpps = £120 entry for every 1000 mpps - good value in my book and hopeful helpful for some readers.

For people who turn noses up at freerolls then I won over 8000$ dollars from them last year

Just lost huge cash pot with 66 on AJ6 flop most in on flop and rest in on J turn - was on Laddies so does not turn hands over but river ace new I had lost anyway (he had AJ)

Have less than average stack in 125K on Betfair and spent 00s trying to qualify for ECOOPS tonight and lost race after race.

I am not in a good place at the moment (head wise) and some wise words from Azimut on last post - need to make sure dont go off the rails. I have not tilted just had loads of horrid situations I have not got awy from like over pairs v sets etc.

Anyway I don't have any roll left so back to basics as paid a bit off mortgage - It effects how you play so don't know where I am going from here at the moment - might just play a few games to go back to basics and respect the game again.
