SUNDAY 500 IN RUNNING (IN CASH)

First time I had played this and was absolutely flying till 100 left, this has huge prize money and i was 2nd with 100 left of over 1000 starters. I won loads of races and got loads of good hands, cant pretend that i was immense or anything !!!

However i gradually went down hill but still sitting 11th with 45 left (11th would have been 4.8k$) however i just got it in SB v BB I had AT he puts big reraise in and i shove and he has the aces and even though i flop a gut shot i don't get the mega suck out that would have put me 4th overall (final table range 6k -88k!!!).

Anyway this left me smallish stack but just won a race with AK versus 88 to get back to 50k below the average with 250k with a remaining field of 33 and thus far I am guaranteed 1874$. Hence no huge payday yet as obviously 500 entrance but potential is huge and well excited as probably best position I have been in since the EPO where i went out about 10 before the cash positions. Starting to get very tired as 1st time i played this and fortunately have booked a half day tomorrow as knew was staying up late for Superbowl (though not this late!!!). However, hope I am still up when the wife gets up for work ;) !!

Now 7 hrs in and I am 20 of 26 and the sole remaining Uk entrant :D, unfortunately the cards have dryed up at the wrong time.

DAMN - was almost in with top 6 stack till 3 outer and dont hit redraw :(

Then got a double up as shortish stack with 99 v AK to get back to just under average again but then donated when set hunting to big reraise next hand.

OK now at the 7th break and down to 18 across 2 tables left, I am towards the bottom but a 1k$ rise from 2.7k$ to 3,7k$ if make it to 15th, will nit up for a bit (in theory!!!). I have a bad seat though with the monster chip leader and another big stack to my right and an aggressive scandi to my immediate left, think I am going to have to find either a hand or some knackers and just go with it soon !!!.

That was tough 30 mins, got hardly anything and bottled it when i raised from under the gun with AJ and big blind shoved, i figured at very best i was racing. However, I am now 15 of 16 and have about 20 big blinds. 15th is 3.8K$ where as 10-12th is 4.8k$, however starting to fall back and even if i got a double now I would only go 8th or 9th, hence all i aks for is a double double :D

I just had a raise and reraise ahead of me and had a tough decision with 99, after a lot of thought i decided to shove as reriaser is very loose and it got through with no calls moving me up a place or two.

13 left now and have gone totally card dead and suffering in my horrid seat, would like to ladder one more place for the extra 1k$ before going for it. Damn out 13th on below hand, absolutely hate there call also although in cold light of day may make more sense of it.

Massively disappointed to lose below, I win that hand I have chip stack of 5th (25k$) and prizes were as below.

God i feel bad right now :( but won plenty races and at least got a massive buzz. Now 630 am and sleep i must.
